Welcome to quarantine unit web site. The Quarantine unit is function under the Ministry of Health and Indigenous Medicine. It has several health offices which provide border health services to travelers, crews, conveyances and operators located at major airport and ports. The key function of the unit is to strengthen health security at our border in collaboration with other sectors. It also legally empower to implement International Health Regulations (IHR-2005) and Quarantine and Diseases Prevention Act in Sri Lanka.
